LEED GOLD

The City of Richmond has received a Green Municipal Fund grant of $501,490 towards their new Hamilton Fire Hall No 5. This will catapult the project to being the first fire hall in Canada to reach the highest level of environmental and sustainable design standards – LEED Gold. The fire hall was designed by Johnson Davidson Architecture & Planning, Vancouver. Richmond Mayor Malcolm Brodie was quoted as saying, “Our goal is for all future civic buildings in Richmond to follow the same footsteps and meet LEED standards, thus helping achieve our City’s environmental goals.”
