Capital Health seeks RFPs for LEED consulting services

Capital Health Region is seeking Request for Proposals for LEED certification consulting services for its proposed 61-bed Didsbury Long Term Care facility.

The 50,000-square-foot environmentally friendly facility is being designed by IBI Group to meet LEED Silver certification. The construction budget, estimated at $17 million, includes escalation and contingency costs.

Construction is expected to commence in December 2008, pending the finalization of a construction manager.

The building is scheduled for completion by December 2011.
